What this site processes
Simply browsing this site tells us nothing that identifies you. Processing is limited to the following:
- Server logs: your IP address, date and time, the address requested, browser and operating system, and the referring address if any. These are kept to secure the site and diagnose faults.
- Contact and payment forms: When you submit the form, your name, e-mail address, telephone number and message are transmitted to our server and forwarded from there to the firm's e-mail address. They are not stored in a database on this site. To limit abuse, an irreversible hash of your IP address is kept purely as a counter and deleted within twenty-four hours at the latest. You may also reach us directly by WhatsApp or e-mail without using the form.
- Legal assistant: the question you type reaches our server and is forwarded to Google's AI service to generate the answer. We do not record the conversation. A one-way hash of your IP address is held briefly to limit abuse; it cannot be used to identify you.
No cookies, no tracking
This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics or measurement tool of any kind, including Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no social media plugin.
Every file the site uses — including the typefaces — is served from our own server, so opening a page sends no request to any third party. For that reason no consent banner is required.
Purposes and legal basis
Server logs rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Enquiries and consultation requests you send us are processed as steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Text you type into the legal assistant is processed only because you chose to type it, and only to answer you.
Who it is shared with
We do not sell data and do not share it for marketing. Only the following providers are technically involved:
- Hostinger International Limited — hosting. The servers are in Frankfurt, Germany, inside the European Union.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — the network that protects the site against attack and speeds up delivery. Traffic passes through Cloudflare.
- Google — only the messages you send to the legal assistant, and only to generate the reply. Your ordinary browsing is not sent to Google.
- WhatsApp / Meta — only if you click a WhatsApp link and send a message.
Transfers outside the EU
Hosting is within the European Union. Cloudflare and Google may transfer data outside the EU; those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the providers' data processing addenda.
For confidential matters you may prefer to telephone rather than use this website.
How long data is kept
Server logs are held briefly for security and deleted on a regular cycle. The hashed IP used by the legal assistant is deleted within twenty-four hours at most. Because conversation content is never recorded, there is no record to delete.
Correspondence created when you contact us by WhatsApp or email is retained for the periods required by the applicable professional and statutory rules.
Your rights
Under GDPR Art. 15–22 and Turkish Law No. 6698 Art. 11 you may ask whether we process your personal data, request a copy, ask for correction or erasure, object to processing, and seek redress if you suffer damage.
Write to info@bosphoruslaw.com. We answer within thirty days.
You may also complain to the data protection authority of your country of residence, or in Türkiye to the Personal Data Protection Board.

This notice is updated as the site changes. The date it took effect is shown above.
